The Philips Lumea Precision Plus IPL hair removal system is for use on body, face and bikini. The way the Lumea works is by applying gentle pulses of light to the hair root, causing the hair to naturally shed and for hair regrowth to be inhibited. So long as this treatment is repeated regularly, you will keep your skin silky-smooth and hair free everyday.
Philips conducted clinical studies which proved significant hair reduction is just the first four bi-weekly treatments. The time between each treatment will vary for each person, as this will be based on your individual hair regrowth.
The Philips Lumea is suitable for a wide variety of hair and skin types, making it ideal for a whole range of women. This includes naturally dark blonde, brown and black hairs. However, please note that the Philips Lumea, alongside other IPL treatments, will NOT be effective on red, light-blonde or white/grey hair. This will also NOT be effective for very dark skin.
Safe for use on even the most sensitive body areas, including the legs, underarms, bikini area, belly and arms. This model can also be used safely and effectively on the face for the upper lip, chin and sideburns.
